Mastodon questions
Which instances are supported?
Any. You supply your instance host and authorise Mediux there over OAuth, so a niche self-hosted server works the same as a large public one.
What is the character limit?
500 by default, though instances can configure their own. Mediux uses 500 as the working limit.
Can it auto-reply?
Yes — replies and mentions are both supported, with scoped rules and rotating variations.
Will automated posting annoy people there?
Scheduling will not; being obviously automated will. Mastodon's culture punishes broadcast marketing harder than any other network, which is a reason to use the brand voice settings properly rather than a reason to stay away.
Does it support content warnings?
Yes — posts can carry a content warning, which is part of posting respectfully on the network.
